About Manipulate Festival: Snapshots
A regular feature at Manipulate Festival, Snapshots is a platform for artists based in Scotland to try out new or developing work across puppetry, circus, physical theatre, visual theatre and dance.
Each artist is given fifteen minutes to test new ground for their work, in a safe and supportive space. From national myths to nightmares, this year’s line-up includes work from Craig McCulloch, Ruxy Cantir and Sarah Rose Graber, Disaster Plan and Jordan and Skinner, Romi and Dale, and Shotput.
Our testing ground for fresh ideas helps the artists to shape the work as it evolves. We invite you to be curious, as you get an insider’s look at how performances are crafted.
A BSL-English interpreter will be in the foyer to welcome audiences before the event, on stage during the event, and will join guests in the bar area after after the event.
