First Footin’ returns on New Year’s Day with a packed programme of FREE live music and performance taking place in city centre attractions, pubs and venues across both the Old & New Town areas.

First Footin’ is a FREE unticketed live music trail, which in 2024/25 welcomed over 15,000 visitors to explore landmark buildings and historic venues throughout the city, discovering new experiences on New Year’s Day with a feast of live music and performance by artists from across Scotland and beyond.
Supported by the Scottish Government’s Festivals EXPO Fund through Creative Scotland
