George Francis at the Pianodrome
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist George Francis will be bringing together an exceptional group of musicians to accompany his beautiful songs in a special showcase of his new album.
About George Francis at the Pianodrome
Tim Lane (drums), Bado Réti (bass) and Philip Cardwell (trumpet) will be joining him in a special showcase of his new album 'Year Of the Dog'. Songs of desire, faith, sin, despair, redemption, grief, love, loss, memory and the transformative weirdness of human life - all within the intimate setting of the Pianodrome, the world’s first amphitheatre made entirely from upcycled pianos..
The night will begin with a set from Badi Réti and Mischa Stevens, playing duo arrangements of original music of the Bado Réto Group. The stripped down versions of the tunes will allow space for experimentation, fresh directions in their journey through undefined space and time.
Doors at 7pm.
