Enchanted Festival opens 2nd December 2022 and runs over three weekends leading up to Christmas. A real treat for the whole family, the kids can meet Santa in his grotto or post their letters to him at the special Express Post Box to the North Pole, enjoy fairground rides and a Christmas maze. Visitors will be able to donate to charity partner Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) when they purchase tickets, or buy a ribbon to make a wish at the Magical Wishing Tree.
Beautiful Balgone Estate will be transformed into a winter wonderland each evening from 4pm, with a light trail around the lake all set to festive music. Discover amazing scenes, glittering with thousands of colourful lights, amongst the trees and stop off at the Snowy Cabin to toast marshmallows.
With Santa being such a popular fellow, Enchanted Festival offers another chance for kids to meet him in the run-up to Christmas. Parents can book in advance alongside their tickets, so don’t miss the chance to make a magical memory and tell him what you want for Christmas!
At the fairground you can ride the Santa Train, Snowman Wipeout, Winter Waltzer, Astroslide, explore the Frozen Castle, bounce on Candy Cane Bungee Trampolines and try the I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge. Kids will love the pony rides and the chance to hang out with cute donkeys.
Masterclasses will be running all day, with kids trying their hands at biscuit decorating, bauble and Christmas card making, while the grown-ups can make wreaths with Rosie from The Petal Shoppe or even taste festive wine and cocktails. Keep the party going in the street food area and enjoy mulled wine, hot toddies and Baileys hot chocolate all while munching on a selection of the best local burgers, pizza, burritos and much more.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
