Join the Federation of Writers (Scotland) to celebrate members and friends' successes in the inaugural Autumnal Equinox Competition at the Scottish Poetry Library on 11th January!
About An evening with the Federation of Writers (Scotland)
Short story, flash fiction and poetry readings will be shared by our winning and shortlisted writers.
We will also welcome our outgoing Makar, Beth McDonough and outgoing Scriever, Moira McPartlin as we announce our new Makar and Scriever for 2023.
Attendees will also be treated to the world première our virtual anthology, including video readings from writers across Scotland and beyond.
This event will be hosted by Federation Chair, Marcas Mac an Tuairneir. The Federation of Writers aims to support writers by making the whole process much easier to negotiate, from starting to write to publication. We can help you to find a writing group in your area, tell you where you can perform (if that is your wish) and help with the process of getting published.
