The Dunedin Wind Band are delighted to invite you to their annual Christmas Concert on 16th December with festive favourites, well-known pop tunes and much more to enjoy!
About Dunedin Wind Band Christmas Concert
Get in the festive spirit at Dunedin Wind Band's Christmas Concert!
Dunedin Wind Band is a community wind band which first formed in 2006, comprising of approximately 50 players based in Edinburgh. Covid restrictions hit hard for the community wind band. Rehearsals went online, led by the band's enthusiastic and creative Musical Director. The time was used to practice pieces ‘together’ over zoom while playing along to recordings, including some outdoor rehearsals held in a local park!
In Autumn 2021 the band was back together for in-person rehearsals, with more new members joining, and they are delighted to once again be welcoming an audience to Craigmillar Park Church on Friday 16 December for their Christmas Concert!
The concert will include some festive favourites, well-known pop tunes and much more. Stay for a mulled wine or baked treat after the concert, too!
Dunedin Wind Band is supporting the charity, 'The Miscarriage Association', through donations at the concert and for baked treats.
Tickets are £6 and available to buy online at https://tinyurl.com/dunedin2022, or on the door (cash and contactless payments accepted). Under 12s go free!
Doors open at 7pm and the concert will begin at 7.30pm.
