Eugene Ripper:
Trailblazing Canadian punk folk singer songwriter Eugene Ripper remains one of Canada's most enduring indie artists. His storied status within the Canuck underground scene is well documented. After cutting RnR teeth slinging electric guitar for seminal 80s surf punkabilly rockers Stark Naked and The Fleshtones, Ripper launched a solo career that continues to this day showcasing his unique hybrid synthesis of punk, folk, rockabilly, noir ballads, americana rock rock and roll, deft lyrical touch and powerful voice.
Lach:
Legendary founder of the international Antifolk movement with six critically ecstatic albums released. The star of BBC Radio 4's series The Lach Chronicles. A London based anti-folk outfit who take dark morally dubious story telling to new lengths. Whether playing acoustic twisted lullabies or in-your-face electric hollers the lyrics catch you off your guard with their openness, black humour and troubling themes.
