About Royal Scottish National Orchestra Viennese New Year Concert
Vienna – the city of dreams, where melodies are as sweet as Sachertorte and dance rhythms sparkle like champagne! It simply wouldn't be New Year without the music of Vienna's most famous son Johann Strauss and his friends. Let us whirl you away to a world of elegant waltzes, playful polkas, and good old fashioned operetta romance from a real RSNO favourite - tenor Jamie MacDougall. Royal Scottish National Orchestra and conductor David Niemann will sweep you off your feet with favourites including the Overture to Die Fledermaus, The Blue Danube, Thunder and Lightning Polka, The Emperor Waltz and the Radetzky March.
