Join us this Christmas on board a very special co-ho-hoach tour with Timberbush Tours. Departing from Edinburgh in the afternoon, we begin our festive journey down to The Alnwick Garden to enjoy their Light Trail and get in the mood for the festive season. Sleighing down the eastern coast of Scotland (on a coach), you will still be able to enjoy some stunning views out over the horizon as the winter sun begins to fade.
After a short comfort break in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, we will continue towards The Alnwick Garden, reaching it just in time for the sun to set and the light show to really begin; ready, set, glow! Your tickets for this are included in the price of the tour, meaning you won’t have to pay any extra admission fees here.
The Alnwick Garden really go all out for the Light Trail, and what is normally filled with beautiful flowers during the year, becomes a magical Christmas escape, full of lights and projections across every inch of the gardens. Ideal for a romantic hand-held stroll under the fairy lights, or a family outing before the big day arrives! There might even be some mistletoe somewhere in there if you are looking for a Christmas date idea.
After about 2 hours exploring the Garden and enjoying the beautiful light trail, getting some ‘elfies under all the lights, and grabbing some festive food and drink from the vendors available there, we will head back to Edinburgh. Following the same route back, see how many houses you can see with all their decorations out and lit up.
With another short comfort break in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, we will shortly arrive back in Edinburgh in the evening, where you could even keep the festivities going by heading into town and exploring the Edinburgh Christmas Markets! Or head off home with a nice hot chocolate, put Elf or Home Alone on, and look through all the cracking photos you got down in Alnwick.
Yule be sorry if you miss this one!
