Come and learn about the journey of the Great Granton Gourd (aka Fig Leaf Gourd) from Latin America to the rest of the world and to North Edinburgh.

Hear what it means to different cultures and taste dishes made from this spectacular cultivar.

Learn some of its many names in different languages and how it thrives in our cold Scottish climates. A chance for stories and conversation about the journeys that seeds take with some delicious food.
