It’s that time of year again – It’s finals footy time! Malones Edinburgh have once again managed to secure an (outrageously) early license in order to show the AFL Grand Final in 4K Ultra HD.

Doors will be open from 5am, and though the kick-off time hasn’t yet been confirmed, what can be confirmed is that the pints will be flowing well before the sun rises!

Every year Malones team up with the Edinburgh Bloods AFL team (current Scottish Champions!) to host the best AFL Grand Final event in town. Get down to support your team, or sledge your mate’s team – up to you. Whether you’re a local or an Aussie passing through, Malones Edinburgh is your home away from home.

Feeling peckish? The pub will have breakfast available from opening, ideal for if you’ve just rolled out of bed or are in need of reviving after a heavy night on the town. There’ll also be a bespoke Aussie drinks menu with authentic products especially for the event, as well as a raffle with some class prizes up for grabs.

Despite the early hour, the atmosphere is sure to be electric with the Edinburgh Bloods AFL team inhabiting the upstairs bar to watch the game. They’re also up for a chat with anyone interested in taking up AFL in Scotland!
