About The Jive Aces - UK’s No.1 Jive & Swing Band at The Edinburgh Festival
After two years of nothing but nightly online live streams due to the pandemic, the band took the time to create an even more energetic Fringe show than ever, featuring new material in a répertoire stretchIng from timeless swing tunes, Rat Pack glitz, a dash of rhythm & blues to songs that inspired The King of Rock n Roll. They feature songs made famous by such greats as Louis Prima, Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley, Cab Calloway, Sammy Davis Jr along with a wide selection of superb originals.
The six top class musicians formed the band with the basic purpose to entertain any crowd of any age. The show is an upbeat, foot tapping, heart lifting, lively show and to add a little glamour and pizazz Grazia Bevilacqua, “The Italian Queen of Accordion” will also feature in the show.
During their career they have worked with some of the best artists around from Van Morrison and Chick Corea to John Travolta and Priscilla Presley among many others and performed for Her Majesty the Queen during her Jubilee celebrations. Their other Fringe shows got them a Five Star review.
