Be inspired by the work of Raphael in this two-day tapestry workshop.
Coinciding with our Raphael - Magister Raffaelo exhibition in our gallery, this workshop will lead you through themes and techniques commonly associated with the Raphael style.
Aimed at those who have a basic knowledge of tapestry weaving and want to explore different design approaches, this workshop is a rare opportunity to delve into the world of Raphael and create your own small tapestry inspired by his work. Experimenting with a range of techniques, you will receive expert tuition from professional weaver Fiona Hutchison, and at the end of the day you are invited to sit back and admire your tapestry with a glass of fizz.
The fee includes all materials and equipment including tapestry yarn, bobbin and loom.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates. All information (whether in text or photographs) is supplied in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
