Lyon & Turnbull are delighted to present their flagship Scottish Paintings & Sculpture featuring J. D. Fergusson at 150 auction, taking place live in Edinburgh and online on Thursday 6th June.
About Auction | Scottish Paintings & Sculpture
The Day Session will start at 2pm and the Evening Session will begin at 6pm.
This Summer's edition includes a celebratory section dedicated to the Scottish Colourist John Duncan Fergusson in the 150th anniversary year of his birth. It features paintings, sculptures and works on paper by the most international of the Colourists.
Highlights also include fine examples by Fergusson’s fellow Colourists S. J. Peploe, G. L. Hunter and F. C. B. Cadell, as well as works by Sir Henry Raeburn, William McTaggart, Bessie MacNicol, E. A. Hornel, John Maclauchlan Milne, Anne Redpath and Joan Eardley, amongst others.
