A rare opportunity to hear young, imaginative musicians from Europe, all at the top of their creative game. Each concert features two bands.
First up: students from Oslo and Hamburg. Whilst the second concert features musicians form Parma and Nürnberg.

An extraordinary, one-of-a-kind big band. Featuring top students from the music academies of Oslo, Parma, Glasgow, Hamburg and Nuremberg this stellar big band will debut new pieces that have been inspired by environmental challenges. This jointly created new work will be premiered tonight after a week of intensive creativity. A small group from Scotland will open the concert, featuring Rachel Duns, Jack Schendel (saxophones), Laurie Moore (acoustic bass) and Kenny Lyons (drums).
