2019 saw Jojo Sutherland perform her first solo show for 5 years - the reason for which is revealed in this extraordinary real life rollercoaster of a story. The show that garnered multiple 5 star reviews and won the 2020 Scottish Comedy Award for Best Festival Show is returning to the stage for a live filmed recording.
Jojo Sutherland grew up in a castle and has steadily worked her way down ever since. Aged 14, her family moved overnight from a castle to a caravan - so how different would her life have been if events had taken her down a different path?
This is a story of two halves - where the life she was born into turned into a life-changing series of events culminating in the ultimate test of emotions. Bizarre, tragic and shocking are just some of the ways to describe this unmissable show. They say tragedy + time = comedy. The time is now.
"You need to go and see this show, you need to hear what she has to say." Kate Copstick - The Scotsman
"Her stream of dialogue leaves her audience both silent in disbelief and laughing in equal measures." Edinburgh Reporter
"Jojo is able to show how humour and laughter are important in even the darkest moments." Aberdeen Comedy Festival Society Review
