Join embroidery artist Lucy Freeman for a creative afternoon at Kate's Bakery in Edinburgh.
We'll be learning contemporary embroidery, an easy to learn, quick and expressive way to embroider. It's simpler than the traditional methods and produces beautiful painterly results!
Your ticket includes all the materials: fabric, threads, designs, an embroidery hoop and needle, as well as instructional sheets and access to video tutorials so you can continue to learn more after the workshop. You get to take everything home with you!
Delicious drinks and cakes from Kate's are also included! Please let us know any dietary requirements you have in the notes section at checkout.
We will cover everything from the basics of threading a needle to how to finish hoops to hang on the wall. Suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced stitchers looking to try out a new style!
Location: Kate's Bakery, 116 Causewayside, Newington, Edinburgh EH9 1PU
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
