Few things are more magical than hearing the world’s most breath-taking classical music being performed live by a brilliant concert pianist in beautiful surroundings, by the flicker of candlelight with a glass of champagne in hand.
Programme:
Etudes Op.25 Nos 1-12
and other selected works by Chopin
This experience comes to life on Saturday 16th July in St Mary’s Cathedral when it plays host to a programme of Chopin’s most virtuosic and romantic music.
Conveniently situated near Haymarket Station, there is a wide choice of nearby restaurants and bars to complete your night out. Whether you are planning a date or treating family and friends, you have everything on your doorstep for the perfect evening.
Concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith is a favourite with UK audiences, well-known for his incredible feat of learning to play all 3.5 million notes of Chopin’s piano music from memory and hailed by the critics as an “epic achievement”
He is one of the busiest concert pianists of his generation, giving over 100 solo performances in the UK alone yearly. He has performed for the Royal Family over 30 occasions and his last CD was featured by Classic FM as CD of the Week
Forget your busy week and treat yourself to an evening of relaxing and invigorating classical music performed with charm and humour by one of the UK’s most brilliant musicians.
“Tall and talented, Warren Mailley-Smith is the embodiment of a modern romantic concert pianist…” – Musical Opinion
