Edinburgh Blues club
Known primarily for his band Jed Potts & The Hillman Hunters, for this show he's going to take us on a solo musical journey.
Over the last year and a half Jed has had the opportunity to write some brand new music and he will be performing some of those new songs for the very first time at this show.
Running against the grain, Jed prefers to play electric guitar even when he's playing on his own, but he'll probably throw in a bit of acoustic, and maybe even a couple of other instruments depending on what he can borrow for the gig.
“Potts is a stellar six-string strutter who plays with the confidence and maturity of a young man reaching the top of his game through relentless jamming and late night gigs in the clubs and bars of his native Edinburgh.” - American Blues Scene
Support comes from Sister Gavin & The Gator. Bringing swampy delta blues, delicate slide and warm, resonate vocals, Sister Gavein & The Gator are firmly rooted in traditional blues whilst bringing their own modern twist.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
