This course gives an introduction to some key elements of self-defence training that can help girls feel safer and more confident, using the reality based self-defence system Krav Maga.
About Introduction to self-defence for Girls aged 14-17 - Krav Maga
**This 3 week course is for girls aged 14- 17**

The goal of the course is to give an introduction to some key elements of self-defence training that can help girls feel safer and more confident, using the reality based self-defence system Krav Maga.
The course will be girls-only, with a female instructor.
Focus will be on the types of situations that young women are more likely to face.
- Awareness of surroundings and "red flag" behaviours
- Managing distance and boundary-setting
- Striking effectively, standing and on the ground
- Mindset - Your own (controlled aggression and determination) and the attacker's (becoming a Hard Target)
Booking this course for £36 includes 3 sessions on the following dates:
Wednesday, 30 June
Wednesday, 7 July
Wednesday, 14 July
These classes will take place outdoors in Holyrood Park (St Leonards area). Please wear clothing suitable to the weather conditions.
