During this talk, we’ll take a stroll through the archives towards Leith, meandering from Lauriston Castle to Trinity House. Along the way, we'll be looking at aerial perspectives, maps and The Scotsman newspaper imagery. The archives will help us investigate Muirhouse, Crewe Toll, Pilton, Granton, Trinity, Newhaven, Leith and provide a taste of the rich heritage of coastal, north Edinburgh.
Jackie Sangster is a Learning Manager at Historic Environment Scotland who works with archival records including Scran.ac.uk.
