About Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival: Katie Whittaker Sings Etta James
From "At Last", "Tell Mama", "Something's Got a Hold on Me", to "I'd Rather Go Blind", Etta James is often thought of as the ultimate blues mama, her voice a steamroller fuelled by brass and sass. Katie Whittaker is a great singer, championed and supported by the brilliant guitarist, Stuart Nisbet (The Proclaimers, Justin Currie etc) and his fantastic soul band.
