Psi Saturday: Current research into the Paranormal, Psychic and Spiritual

About Psi Saturday: Current research into the Paranormal, Psychic and Spiritual

This day of discussion is an opportunity to meet a number of researchers who are working in the area of spirit and the anomalous; we will hear their latest ideas and there will be a chance for you to discuss them openly. We have invited three academics from the University of Northampton – where the UK’s largest parapsychology department is located – and two independent researchers.

Please note that places for this special event are extremely limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Leading the Northampton team is an old friend of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre Professor Chris Roe whom you may have seen on the Netflix series Surviving Death. With him will be two colleagues whose work is also at the cutting edge.

Our independent researchers are:

Pietro Calvi-Parisetti whose books demonstrate with great clarity the high quality of current arguments in favour of Survival (life after death). They include 21 Days into the Afterlife (2008), Adventures in Psychical Research (2015) and Step into the Light (2021).

Valerie Harkness who has been conducting research into the results and effects of mediumship on the clients of our mediums at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre. Her findings are very recent and of great interest.

Announced Speakers

Kirsty Allan: Sensory isolation in flotation tanks as a method of promoting psi phenomena

Mike Daw: The evidence for how diet and food might affect psi and spirituality

Mateus Donia Martinez: Mediumship research in Brazil

Chris Roe: Anomalous experiences at the end of life

Pietro Calvi-Parisetti: Achievements in Psychical Research

Valerie Harkness: Results of a recent study into the effects of Mediumship
