The show has something for everyone, from competitions to shopping, live music and tasty food and drinks - It’s the one place you can meet, touch, smell, taste and take home the best in the country.

The Grand Parade
The Grand Parade is hugely popular and the Grandstand fills up quickly in the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday. Prize-winning cattle can be seen gracefully wending their way across the Main Ring. If you don’t know your Belted Galloways from your Belgian Blues then this is a very rare opportunity to see so many different breeds at one time.

Scotland's Larder
Scotland's Larder is a must-see destination for all Foodies and a great place to meet local producers, taste the best of Scottish produce and discover artisan offerings from across the UK!

Equine Competitions
From Showjumping, Pony Club Games, Private Driving, and more...there’s never a dull moment during our Equine Competitions at the Show.

Agricultural Machinery
Visit the best of the best in one of the UK's biggest displays of agricultural machinery and innovative technology.

Food For Thought Conference & Cookery Theatre
Introducing Food for Thought : Let your senses feast on what Food For Thought has to offer! Situated in the east of our Showground, next to the Forge, watch some of the best Chefs, Food Writers and producers from around the country prepare delicious dishes, discuss all things gastro, giving the opportunity to ask them any burning questions you have!

Royal Highland Hoolie
Coming along to the Show on the Friday or Saturday? Why not end your day right and enjoy an evening full of music from Scottish folk to Irish country at our brand new Royal Highland Hoolie, presented by Farmer's Bash!

Forestry Arena
Witness astounding skill and strength as record breaking pole climbers brave the dizzying heights in the Forestry Arena. As well as amazing bike displays, axe throwing and forestry demonstrations.

Home & Gift Hall
Introducing the Home & Gift Hall. We invite all discerning buyers looking for something special to the Home & Gift Hall located on 13th Avenue in the Lowland Hall. Browse the magnificent products on offer here at the Royal Highland Show offering the perfect opportunity to meet those well-known brands you love and discover some who are new and soon to be favourites.

Sheep Shearing
Follow the excitement of the competition and be amazed at the skill and speed of the sheep shearers. Speed, accuracy and flair combine to make this category such compelling viewing and one of the toughest competitions to win.

The Countryside Area
Set by its very own loch and surrounded by stunning landscaping, the Countryside Area features demonstrations and events showcasing a wide range of country sports and activities and rural skills. There's so much to take in at the Countryside Area, from the Honey, Goats & Poultry Marquees, to the great range of outdoor pursuits on display.

The Forge
The hottest place (quite literally) at the show. Watch as competitors go head to head in the Scottish Open Farriery Championship Horse-shoeing & Shoe-making competitions.
