This is a thrill, a riot, a good time.
This effervescent show features Ali’s favourite musicians from Scotland and the crescent city in a band that brings a little bit of Caledonia into the musical gumbo that is New Orleans Jazz. Together they will transport you to the prohibition era, delivering good time, swinging, vintage jazz with songs by the likes of Bessie Smith, Mildred Bailey, Louis Armstrong and Ma Rainey.
For one night only, the vivacious singer will be joined by a stellar eight-piece band featuring New Orleans pianist Joplin Parnell and multi-instrumentalist Ewan Bleach as well as UK’s finest, trumpeter Enrico Tomasso.
Supported by Scottish Jazz Expo.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
