Free and fun family festival, ran by the community, for the community
since 1974!
There’s something for all ages to enjoy at Meadows Festival - and all entertainment is completely free to enjoy. From the University of Edinburgh Family Zone, to the DogShow and Greyhound Parade, Performance Area, a local youth music stage, Main Stage with local music artists, Edinburgh College GLOW stage, Shinty Sports Area, stalls selling everything from carboot treasures to handmade gifts, and a range of delicious food vans and outdoor bars. Plus new for 2025, a dedicated Wellbeing Zone. Finally the festival will also be welcoming The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever (dancing to the iconic music video by Kate Bush).
On 7 and 8 June 2025, Meadows Festival Edinburgh will celebrate its 50th Annual Celebration and we welcome everyone to come along, support the festival and enjoy a fabulous weekend.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
