Virgin Red is bringing the Points Board – a giant board packed with surprise rewards – to flagship Virgin Money stores across the country. On Wednesday 20 March 2024, the Points Board will be installed at the Virgin Money Edinburgh store from 10am to 2pm for customers to get their hands on exciting rewards.
From hotel stays at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh to helicopter rides, wine and even Greggs sausage rolls, there’s a whole host of different rewards up for grabs.
Customers at the Virgin Money Edinburgh store on the day can take part by signing up to Virgin Red – Virgin's Group-wide rewards club – and play to win exciting rewards.
Andrea Burchett, Chief Loyalty Officer and Managing Director at Virgin Red, says: “Virgin Red offers hundreds of ways for people to earn and spend Virgin Points, so we’re delighted to treat Virgin Money customers to some of our extraordinary rewards. Whether you’re after an adventure with Virgin Experience Days or just a hot coffee, your wish could be our command on Wednesday 20 March.”
Joanne Brading, Head of Engagement & Loyalty at Virgin Money, said: “We’re really excited to partner with Virgin Red to surprise and delight our customers visiting the Virgin Money Edinburgh store on 20 March. Straightforward and rewarding products are central to our customer offer, from cashback incentives to Virgin Points promotions. Visitors can expect some incredible Virgin Points prizes including treats, trips and days out, and we’re looking forward to seeing what our customers go home with.”
Heading into the evening, budding entrepreneurs and new business founders in the city are then invited to a free Meet Up event starting at 6pm, hosted by Virgin StartUp, Virgin’s not-for-profit hub for new business founders. Virgin StartUp’s Meet Up events are a great way to meet other budding founders in the area, to share advice, make connections and inspire you to take the next steps.
Jill and Steve Henry, husband and wife team and co-founders of Edinburgh-based outdoor clothing brand Meander Apparel, will be joining the conversation and sharing their experience of starting and scaling a successful business. Meander Apparel started life in 2018 using a Start Up Loan from Virgin StartUp and the sustainable clothing brand is now targeting revenues of £1.5 million in 2025.
Tickets to the founder Meet Up event are free, but seats are limited. To book a place, visit www.virginstartup.org/events
Andy Fishburn, Managing Director at Virgin StartUp, explains: “We know that Edinburgh is a hub for entrepreneurship as we've supported many talented early-stage business founders in the city over the years. I’m delighted that Jill from Meander Apparel can join us as her business is a huge Edinburgh success story and has lots of fantastic insights and advice to share.
“Whether you’ve been running a business for a few years and are looking to scale, or you have an exciting idea for a new business and aren’t sure where to start, we'd love for you to join us and chat about building better businesses that have a positive impact on the world.”
