Guests can expect a menu of Belhaven smoked salmon, Roasted Scottish beef, Winter barley risotto and a Scottish Drambuie cranachan. Post dinner, guests can then let their hair down with traditional ceilidh dancing played by the live band. As the clock reaches midnight, a glass of champagne will be served to ring in the new year, followed by a tempting selection of late night snacks.
Those looking for a spectacular start to their New Year can book Commons Club’s exclusive Hogmanay event. Set within Commons Club Restaurant, Virgin Hotels take on a modern-day social club, guests will be able to enjoy an instrumental set by jazz and funk duo, Sapphire Notion, whilst enjoying a five-course menu specially curated by Chef de Cuisine Emma Hanley. And that’s not all, guests will have exclusive access to Virgin Hotels Edinburgh’s private rooftop at midnight to enjoy an unrivalled view of the capital’s iconic firework display with a glass of bubbles in hand.
