El Perro Negro and Vault City are to join forces this summer for an exciting kitchen pop-up at the brewery’s popular taproom, Porty Vault by the Portobello shore in Edinburgh.
The trailblazing burger sensations will team up with craft beer favourites to launch an exclusive three-month summer kitchen pop-up menu at the Porty Vault pub. A collaboration that is set to ignite the Edinburgh food scene and satisfy the cravings of burger enthusiasts and craft beer aficionados alike.
Launching on Friday 30th June, the Porty Vault will become El Perro Negro’s second Edinburgh venue to open since 2021. The pop-up will offer an unparalleled dining experience that combines El Perro Negro's legendary burger creations with the distinctive and delicious flavors of Vault City's craft beers.
Winners of the National Burger Awards 2019 and 2021 and home to the best burger in the UK - the famous Top Dog, the pop-up menu will include some El Perro Negro fan favourites. Along with some super tasty double smash additions. Sure to satisfy even the most discerning of burger lovers.
Still hungry? Brace yourself for the brand new and highly addictive Chilli Cheese Fries, where crispy fries meet a generous topping of flavour-packed chilli and gooey melted cheese. Or looking for a fiery kick? The Buffalo Fries deliver with their tangy buffalo sauce and perfectly seasoned fries. Porty Vault also boasts an impressive 36 beer taps. Meaning burger fans will be spoilt for choice with refreshing and award winning pairings.
Speaking of the collaboration, Adam Reid, Head of Bar Operations at Vault City said;

El Perro Negro Founder, Nick Watkins also spoke of his excitement about the launch;
“We’re big fans of Vault City at El Perro Negro, so we were delighted and really flattered when the team suggested collaborating this summer. Their sour creations are the perfect pairing to our burgers and we can’t wait to serve them up together!”
El Perro Negro will pop-up at Valut City’s Porty Vault in Portobello from Friday 30th June. Open Wednesday and Thursday 3-9 pm and Friday to Sunday 12pm - 9pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.
