The Loch Lomond Springfest, one of Scotland’s biggest FREE food festivals, is back on the 1st and 2nd April with a fantastic line up of food and drink producers, live entertainment, whisky & gin tastings, chef demonstrations and classes, kids’ activities and much, much more.
Running from 10am to 6pm each day the festival is full of great things to see and do that will keep you busy all day.
For children aged 5 and up we have pizza making classes available on Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. These can be booked via Eventbrite and cost £7 for the 50 minute class, including a delicious self-made pizza to enjoy at the end! We’ll also have fun characters around over the weekend, hair braiding, balloon modelling and face painters as well as small children’s rides.
Pizza making sessions can be booked at www.eventbrite.com
For keen cooks, Rohan Wadke from Masterchef 2016, will be joining us on both Saturday and Sunday. He will be hosting FREE cooking demonstrations on both days at 11am, 1pm and 3pm that will feature Korean Chicken, Cauliflower Manchurian and Vegetable & chicken dumplings with garlic & chilli oil. We’ll also have sushi making classes on Saturday at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm for £10, including some delicious self-made sushi to enjoy afterwards.
Rohan’s cooking demonstrations don’t need to be booked but we’d recommend turning up 10 minutes before they start to ensure a seat. The sushi making classes can be booked at www.eventbrite.com
And for whisky and gin fans, Loch Lomond Whiskies are hosting hourly whisky and gin tastings on each day from 11am to 4pm. Places for these immersive 45-minute tastings are limited and, at only £10 for whisky tastings and £15 for gin tastings, are great value for money. Experts from Loch Lomond Whiskies will guide ticket holders through four of their amazing whiskies or gins. Tickets can be bought via Eventbrite.
Whisky tasting sessions can be booked at www.eventbrite.com

Music fans can also enjoy live entertainment throughout the weekend with a range of live acts performing and busking across Loch Lomond Shores as well as an afternoon appearance on Saturday by Cassi from Radio Clyde.
With its usual huge array of street food and food & craft stalls, it will be hard to pick what to eat and drink and what to take home, with a mix of new vendors and favourites such as The Peruvian, Arran Hog Roast, Scozzese Pizza & Churros Barcelona for hot, fresh food and Three Sister Bake, Berto’s Brownies and Chulo’s Bakes for their delicious cakes, brownies and stuffed cookies!
If you’re ditching the car and taking public transport, you can have a drink at our bar area to enjoy some local craft beers, cocktails, fizz, gin & award-winning wines plus much, much more.
