The ultimate festive fun for all the family
This year the well-loved Conifox Christmas Experience is back even better than ever, enhanced with enchanting lighting and effects from events specialists 21CC Productions.
Also new for 2022 is their Christmas Funfair, in partnership with Taylor’s of Edinburgh Funfair, and outdoor Christmas Market supporting local Scottish traders, perfect for some unique gifts.
The magic begins on 25 November and continues right up until that most exciting night of the year, Christmas Eve.
Families will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Santa Claus, meet all their favourite characters and make magical festive memories when they can:
• Check in at North Pole passport control to get their Christmas Passport and prepare to step through the Magic Gateway
• Journey through the glistening winter world of the Magic Forest where Frosty the Snowman and his friends get everyone moving with festive spirit
• Settle down in front of the fire with Mrs Claus for some traditional festive tales and joyful songs in her cosy kitchen
• Step into Santa’s sitting room for a special welcome from the big man himself. Every child will receive a Golden Christmas Coin from Santa to exchange in the Toy Workshop for a gift for their choice
• Venture through Who-ville en route to the Elf Village and Reindeer Flying School – but look out for the Grinch who loves to play tricks!
• Stop off at Santa’s Sweet Shop and get the elves’ help to decorate some Christmas Cookies to take home
• Pass through the Naughty or Nice Scanner to check who has been good
• Finish off at the Toy Workshop helping the elves fix the Toy Maker 3000 to ensure all the children receive their gifts this year, and where children will be able to exchange their Golden Coin for a very special quality gift of their choice
Then as night falls, the wonderland will light up with amazing effects thanks to 21CC Productions, the team behind events such as the spectacular Wondrous Woods at Hopetoun House.
James Gammell, Managing Director of Conifox Adventure Park, says: “Christmas is such a truly magical time for children and we want to capture the excitement and joy of the season for kids of all ages, to make memories that will last long after the baubles and tinsel are packed away.
“The Conifox Christmas Experience is always a sell-out and we hope we’ve excelled ourselves this year – with a little help, of course, from some very special elves and the big man himself.”
The Conifox Christmas Experience runs on selected dates from November 25 to December 24, with entrance times at 15-minute intervals.
Admission to the Indoor Activity Centre and Adventure Park is not included with the tickets purchased for Christmas Experience Days or Nights, but they can be booked online.
