Koala tea donation for Edinburgh Zoo
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has received a koala-tea £8,394 donation, raised by guests of Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh’s limited edition Edinburgh Zoo Afternoon Tea.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has received a koala-tea £8,394 donation, raised by guests of Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh’s limited edition Edinburgh Zoo Afternoon Tea.
Beautifully handmade by the hotel’s talented pastry chefs, the Edinburgh Zoo Afternoon Tea featured miniature Queensland koalas made of mint chocolate chip petit gateau and more animal themed delicacies.
£5 per afternoon tea was donated to the wildlife conservation charity, to support their vital work to safeguard threatened species in Scotland and around the world.
