Zoo is out for summer
Over 300 pupils have taken part in the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Summer School and Conservation Action Team programmes at Edinburgh Zoo this year.

Over 300 pupils have taken part in the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Summer School and Conservation Action Team programmes at Edinburgh Zoo this year.
Children from P2 – S4 took part in a bespoke curriculum designed by the wildlife conservation charity to inspire connections with wildlife and nature, taking wild learning to the next level. It gave kids the chance to explore by getting up close and personal with animals and discover more about science and conservation through exciting, hands-on experiences.
Activities included creating enrichment items for the zoo’s rare and endangered species, DNA experiments, trails and more.
