2021 will be the first time in 25 years that Scotland has taken part in the UEFA European Football Championships finals.
To mark the quarter century anniversary, Scottish hospitality collection, Signature Group, has put its own twist on the half-time meaty treat by creating a Bovril and Highland Park Whisky long shot served with a Campbell’s Prime Meat pie.
Priced at £4.50, the limited-edition combo will be available from The Queens Arms, The Black Bull and The Fountain in Edinburgh, as well as The Raven in Glasgow from Monday 14th June and throughout the Euro 2020 tournament.
Launched in 2003, Signature Group boasts a proud portfolio of over 20 bars, restaurants and hotels throughout Scotland, including the iconic Cold Town House in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket. Each venue is unique, taking inspiration from its surroundings and customers, with food and drink offerings sourced locally to showcase the best of Scottish produce.
Signature Group favours historic architecture and community involvement, aiming to provide positive growth and engagement with each new project. The company vision is to nurture a portfolio of destination venues for socialising and experiencing the best of Scottish, independent hospitality for locals and tourists alike by investing wisely, growing sustainability and encouraging a sense of community and inclusiveness in the areas around its venues.
Signature takes pride in building a reputation for great people, great products and, most importantly, consistently brilliant customer service.
Louise MacLean, Business Development Director at Signature Group, said: “It’s been a quarter of a century since Scotland took part in the Euro Championship finals, so we wanted to create a retro meaty treat to help football fans celebrate the occasion.
“Our new Bovril long shot is the perfect way to beef up your bevvy throughout Euro 2020 and is up for grabs at our selected venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow from 14th June and throughout the tournament. We’ve got a great seat for all the games too, so come on Scotland, and do us proud.”
