Enjoy festive fun at Edinburgh Zoo this Autumn and Winter

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has announced the return of Edinburgh Zoo’s Christmas Nights, alongside a brand-new family friendly Halloween event running in October.

In partnership with NL Productions, the wildlife conservation charity will welcome guests on two spectacular evening light trails throughout October, November and December 2021.

Both events will feature magical projections and illuminating experiences with full details to be revealed later this year.

Jonathan Brown, events and experiences manager at RZSS, said: “We are so excited to be bringing Christmas Nights back for a second year this winter, taking visitors on an incredible voyage with stunning projections, twinkling fairy lights, candy canes, nutcrackers and much more.

“Our brand-new Halloween event, Edinburgh Zoo Spooktacular!, is a first for us and we cannot wait to welcome families this autumn. From witches and wizards to pumpkin patches and spiders, it is sure to be frightfully fun for all the family.”

Created by the team behind The Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry, the trails have been designed for limited visitor numbers with a wide range of safety measures in place, Edinburgh Zoo Spooktacular! and Edinburgh Zoo’s Christmas Nights are sure to make your evenings merry and bright this autumn and winter.
