From the 13 October – 5 November, Edinburgh's Dunstane Houses will be offering locals the opportunity to save up to 50% on overnight stays including dinner, bed & breakfast plus a tray of ‘Ultimate Night In’ goodies.
Comprising a bottle of the hotel's very own DunGin, tonics and garnishes, an assortment of pre-dinner nibbles and post-dinner treats (think popcorn, pick’n’mix and the Dunstane's prohibition-inspired room service drinks menu..) plus unlimited access to Netflix; the hotel's ‘Ultimate Night In’ tray features all the ingredients you could possibly need for a night of escapism away from the current chaos.
As always, the hotel's 4-course dinner will be served in the lounge or in-room and for those eager to end the night in traditional Scottish fashion; the Dunstane's whisky ambassador will be on hand to talk guests through the hotel's enviable collection of over 70 whisky’s for a nightcap, on them, delivered to your room.
To book: the 'Ultimate Night In'package starts from £249 for an overnight stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis based on two guests including a 4-course dinner, the hotel's 'Ultimate Night In' goodies tray, late check-out and complimentary parking. Offer is valid for stays through 20 December. Must be booked by 5 November. An additional £20 supplement is applicable for Saturday night stays.
Fun for all the family: Ghouls and Glamping at The Dunstane (and kids eat for free!)
With upcoming Hallowe’en celebrations inevitably restricted and the weather turning increasingly soggy; Edinburgh's Dunstane Houses have been busy working their magic to save the day for families across the country. Cue their their very own glamping experience (parents fear not as camping will in fact take place in-room featuring bespoke tents filled with goodies and an explorers’ backpack with activities, bubbles, and an activity book all hidden inside - plus of course duvets and pillows for bedtime too!).
Over the course of the two-night stay, families can enjoy a Hallowe’en afternoon tea with tantalising themed treats and frighteningly good hot drinks before retreating to their room for a Hallowe’en classic on the small screen. The hotel will even happily order in pizza for guests, too!
The next day, families are invited to make the most of the unusual tranquillity of our city’s attractions – Edinburgh Zoo, the Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Botanic Gardens, one of our many museums – before returning for dinner where the kids eat free!
To book: the 'Ghouls and Glamping' package starts from £298 per night (saving up to 50% per family) on a bed & breakfast basis based on two adults and two children including a Dunstane kids' tent, duvet and pillows; dinner for all one evening (under-10s dine free for dinner and breakfast); afternoon tea; a kids' backpack (one per child); tickets and access to one of the attractions listed above; complimentary parking and welcome hot chocolate. Offer is valid for stays through 20 December. Must be booked by 5 November. An additional £20 supplement is applicable for Saturday night stays.
