Following its reopening this week, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is saying a big thank-you to the city’s frontline health workers with a free Legendary® Burger from Monday 20th July.
Nurses, doctors and other frontline medical workers with valid identification are eligible to receive a free burger and fries from the Legendary® Steak Burger menu which includes tasty cheeseburgers and vegetarian burger options at Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh, from Monday 20th July until Friday 24th July. This comes as Hard Rock® announces the reopening of the Edinburgh cafe on Wednesday 15th July, in compliance with recommendations from the Scottish Government’s latest regulations.
Nick Chiverton, General Manager, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh said: “Healthcare workers throughout the country have been the true heroes this year, and every year in fact. We appreciate all the help they have given and continue to give to their community. This small gesture of appreciation is the least Hard Rock can do to say thank you to those working on the frontlines during lockdown.”
Hard Rock® Cafe's line-up of delicious, award-winning burgers that community heroes can choose from includes options such as The Original Legendary® Burger, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and The Big Cheeseburger. Hard Rock® Cafe's Steak Burgers are crafted with a proprietary beef blend to produce the most flavourful burger possible and include premium accompaniments like freshly baked, toasted buns, produce at its prime and signature sauces. The famous Moving Mountains® Burger is also on offer for those looking for a delicious vegetarian alternative. Made with a 100% plant-based patty the veggie burger is served in a freshly toasted bun with seasoned fries.
The Edinburgh cafe will reopen with limited hours of 12pm-9pm Sunday – Thursday and 12pm-10pm Friday – Saturday, from 15th July.
Hard Rock International partnered with world-renowned public health and safety organizations like EcoSure, an Ecolab Division, and NSF International, formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation, to ensure its properties are ‘SAFE + SOUND’ to reopen, meeting the highest standards of safety, sanitation, food handling and employee training.
The ‘SAFE + SOUND’ programme confirms all properties have the proper cleaning procedures, staff trainings and support needed to guarantee the safety of its guests and team members. The enhanced safety protocol includes procedures such as temperature checks, social distancing measures and protective mask requirements for all team members. These safety measures have been taken in line with the latest Scottish Government regulations.
