Visitors to Vue Edinburgh Ocean and Vue Edinburgh Omni will be unleashing their inner dancers as the powerful Riverdance comes to the big screen in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
The dance extravaganza, which originated as a Eurovision interval act, hits screens for the first time as the special gala performance is filmed where it all began at 3Arena Dublin. Fans are able to see the show at Vue Edinburgh Ocean and Vue Edinburgh Omni for a truly remarkable experience.
25 years ago, seven minutes changed Irish dancing forever and gave people a glimpse into the future of the dance. Now, composer Bill Whelan has re-recorded his mesmerising soundtrack while producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan have completely reimagined the ground-breaking show with innovative and spectacular lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.
Robert Smith, general manager at Vue Edinburgh Omni, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers a chance to see this iconic show. Fans of dance, theatrics and music are in for a real treat.
“Not everyone is able to travel to Dublin to see the show so we’re very happy that we can give devotees the opportunity for an amazing viewing experience with ultimate seat, screen and sound.”
Riverdance will be screened in Vue Edinburgh Ocean and Vue Edinburgh Omni on 3rd & 8th March. Tickets are available to book at www.myvue.com
