Planning for your loved one's future care? Edinburgh home offers free advice
A care home in Edinburgh is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Thursday 26th September, from 2.30pm-4.30pm, the Care UK team at Lauder Lodge, on Wakefield Avenue, will open the home’s doors for the free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.
Independent specialists, Lianne Lodge and Austen Burns from Gillespie Macandrew, will be on hand to help visitors understand options for funding long-term care and provide useful and practical information.
During the event, those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Lauder Lodge and take a closer look at the care home.
Nicole Anderson, home manager at Lauder Lodge, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.
“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome Lianne and Austen to the event; they are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
