Terminal V is incredibly proud to reveal the final wave of artists joining them for their Easter Sunday bank holiday all day festival in Edinburgh.
The show takes place on Easter Sunday April 1st, an unparalleled techno, house and electronic odyssey set in one of Edinburgh’s most iconic venues, with all of the pulsating action at the Royal Highland Centre. The team are very proud to announce Terminal V will take place across three rooms with techno, house and disco and an outdoor stage too, and now the final artists have now been confirmed.
First up is Chicago native Derrick Carter Does Disco – that means this is a rare opportunity to see him indulging in his original disco streak; expect plenty of classic cuts, rare crate-dug grooves and some seriously 70s dancing, mixed with his impeccable timing and taste. Then Helena Hauff brings her stripped-down techno and electro, drawing influences from acid house, EBM and industrial music, and she is a master crafter of electric sets. Jay Clarke is the newest addition to the Klockworks label and a rising star in the techno scene, and fast-rising producer and DJ Mella Dee has seen support from Daniel Avery, The Black Madonna, Alan Fitzpatrick, Bicep, Skream, and George Fitzgerald for his music. Local spinners and producers Stephen Brown, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Frazier also perform. They join the already revealed Kölsch, Bicep and Rødhåd + Special Guest Pan-Pot, plus artists in A-Z Amelie Lens, Artwork, Mallgrab and Peggy Gou.
Terminal V is a pioneering collaboration in Edinburgh from the team behind Nightvision which has already brought two immense parties in the and around the city in 2017, as they seek to showcase some of the world’s best talent in Edinburgh and to help develop the region’s standing for electronic music. April is the third huge show from the team and will feature state-of-the-art audio and visual installations.
Terminal V’s Derek Martin explains: “We have now completed our lineup for Terminal V and believe we have got one of the UK’s biggest 1 day shows of the year happening right here in Edinburgh. It’s an amazing chance to see some of the world’s leading artists and producers alongside the next generation of talent, all under one roof for our daytime festival. This is going to be a huge weekend for Edinburgh and Scotland!”
