The Artist working in WASPS Patriothall complex set up the gallery in the late 1980s, initially to show the work of those within the building. The Remit expanded to cover first all artists who worked in WASPS run buildings and then was opened up to all artists who needed somewhere to show their work. To apply you need to send a proposal and personal details to the gallery rep, details on the gallery website; www.patriothallgallery.co.uk.
We have a limited number of 2 week slots through the year, but if the selection panel has chosen your work to be shown we do try to accommodate your needs. We have a separate selection slot for the Edinburgh Festival period.
