Love Drama is a drama education company based in Edinburgh. Founded in 2009, Love Drama prides itself on delivering the highest quality of drama workshop provision across Scotland and beyond.

Welcome to Love Drama!

Love Drama is based in Edinburgh, The Lothians and The Scottish Borders. Our classes are packed with fun and exciting activities led by professional drama practitioners. We offer a range of different performance styles which include improvisation, devising and script work. We never force a child to perform if they don't want to. Instead, we offer alternative ways of being involved such as costume design, lights and sound. We are affiliated with Children’s University and all our classes and holiday activities count towards learning hours! We run classes in Musselburgh, Woodburn Primary School, Midlothian & James Gillespie’s Primary School, Edinburgh. We are available for one off workshops and short blocks of classes too!

Weekly Drama Classes have now re-opened

Love Drama Weekly Classes are packed with fun and exciting activities led by professional drama practitioners. These classes focus on developing transferable skills through creativity.

The 4-7s is led by teacher in role performance while having a great laugh and a lot of fun! During the 8-11s, we begin to encourage devised performance through individual and group group work and in the 12-18s, we take a more in depth look at where performance skills derive from and challenge the pupils to create longer and more thought provoking performances.

We are affiliated with Children’s University and all our classes count towards learning hours!

These classes take place on Fridays at St Peter's Church Hall, High Street, Musselburgh, EH21 7AD

4-7s: 4pm-5pm - £5 per week

8-11s: 5pm-6:30pm - £7 per week

12-18s: 6:30pm-8:30pm - £9 per week

School Clubs

Our Love Drama School Clubs are all the same as the Weekly Classes but are affiliated to a specific school so only pupils of that school can attend. The added benefits are that your child will not need to leave their school as Love Drama will be operating within the building; they get to meet like minded friends within their school community.

We are affiliated with Children’s University and all our classes count towards learning hours!

Love Drama Holiday Camps

Love Drama's Holiday Camps offer a child led approach to explore the fantastic array of different drama skills such as acting, directing, writing, costume and design. We even have our own stage and lights!

These fun and energetic 5 day experiences include full drama warm-ups, lots of drama activities to participate in either individually or as part of a group, all of our best drama games and of course, lots of opportunities to perform!

We are affiliated with Children’s University and all our holiday activities count towards learning hours!

Drama Workshops

Along with our regular drama classes, we can also provide one off or blocks of classes for groups, charities and organisations. Either online or in person.
