Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home is a registered charity (Charity No SC006914) run by its Committee of Management and is a member of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes. We are one of the few independent homes in Scotland taking in many hundreds of stray and unwanted dogs and cats every year.

We try, whenever possible, to find new and loving homes for all our animals and are passionate about what we do and how we do it. We aim to show that pet ownership, although challenging at times, can be one of the most rewarding things you can do.
