Dalriada is a stunning, traditional building situated on Portobello promenade. We are a family run, independent bar, known as Dalriada for 11 years this November. Our aim has been to create a welcoming, lively, community- focused bar which represents the vitality and spirit of Portobello and celebrates the beautiful seaside we have on our doorstep! We are dedicated to the promotion of live music and local talent, and offer a wide range of styles and genres throughout the week. Check ‘What’s On’ for more info!
We are equally dedicated to promoting local breweries and have three real ale taps on constant rotation featuring a range of handpicked suppliers from throughout Scotland, and occasionally further afield. We also host an impressive selection of malt whiskies, gins and rums, amongst other selected spirits and liquers; with new brands trialled often to ensure we have something for every taste. All our spirits are served in 35ml drams, so each unique flavour can be thoroughly appreciated.
Our main bar area is filled with live music every day, and we have the added benefit of our real fire to add to a cosy atmosphere over the winter months. We also have 2 function rooms available to hire, and offer a range of buffet options for such occasions – contact us at 0131 4454500 for more details and to check availability.
