Hermitage Park is based near the centre of Helensburgh on the Clyde Estuary and covers approximately 4.7 hectares. It features both well-maintained bowling and putting greens, which are always kept in a pristine state.
Other features include a war memorial centred around a peaceful area of the park and a commemorative bust of John Logie Baird. Helensburgh’s most famous and influential resident is the inventor of television, broadcasting the first signal in 1925.
