After gracing domes from Germany to Japan, the Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre is excited to play host to ‘Queen Heaven’ - a special show created for planetariums featuring music by legendary rock band, Queen, with exciting visuals to go along with some of their biggest hits like ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’; ‘We Will Rock You’; ‘Radio Gaga’ and ‘We are the Champions’.
Celebrating the best of Queen, this show brings together a selection of their greatest hits with a mix of immersive visuals, archive footage and classic music videos. Prior to the film, one of our expert astronomers will whisk you off on a tour of the cosmos in the state-of-the-art digital planetarium.
NB: this spectacular full dome experience has been approved by Queen and inspired by their music, and as such, contains non astronomy content. It contains infrequent use of strong language, some flashing images and visuals which may cause some people to feel a sensation of movement.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
