Lannan Pantry hosts Jess Dennison book signing

On Saturday 21st of March, Lannan Pantry will host a book signing with food writer and Elliott's founder Jess Elliott Dennison, celebrating her book Midweek Recipes.

On the counter will be bakes from Midweek Recipes, including:

• Cherry and almond pudding
• Flourless chocolate cake with armagnac prunes
• Treacle tea loaf
• Brown butter and rosemary apple cake

Guests will be able to purchase signed copies of Midweek Recipes, while a selection of Elliott’s kitchenware products will also be on display and available to browse in Lannan Pantry. A selection of bakes from the book will be available from 9am at Lannan Bakery and served until sell-out.

Midweek Recipes is a simple guide of how Jess cooks Monday through to Friday.
Covering everything from crispy-edged kimchi and Cheddar fritters to the easiest lemon-cream linguine; the fluffiest flatbreads and a comforting self-saucing chocolate pudding to flop onto the sofa with. Welcome to easy, joy-filled Midweek Recipes. With chunky margins, Jess encourages readers to scribble on their notes about each recipe as they work through the book and make each recipe their own. Jess has written, tested, photographed and published this book from her Studio on Sciennes Road in Edinburgh.

Accessible by its own entrance on Hamilton Place, next to the bakery, Lannan Pantry is a one-stop-shop for quality, seasonal produce - all of which is used in the menu items at the bakery, eliminating any waste. Guests can purchase grocery staples including fresh fruit, vegetables, and cultured butter from The Edinburgh Butter Company, as well as bread coming from the bakery, dips, fresh pasta and sauces made in house by Lannan’s kitchen team.
