Located just outside Edinburgh, families can experience the world’s best surf park* first hand with an Easter getaway at Lost Shore and stay in a luxury Hilltop Lodge for just £150 per night.
With both three or four bed options, the spacious lodges (with dog friendly options) offer stunning views of the wave pool and a relaxing haven after a day in the pool or on the shore surf-skating. Better yet, all guests can redeem discounts on surf lessons and sessions during their stay. And there will be Easter egg hunts and family activities across the holiday period.
Solo travellers, couples or smaller groups can also opt for a waterfront stay in Lost Shore’s award-winning pods from £100 per night. Those who book a waterfront pod throughout February and March can enjoy a complimentary brunch at Lost Kitchen every morning of their stay.
With consistent, high-quality waves and expert coaching all year round at Lost Shore, new surfers can stand up for the first time, while those returning can continue building confidence and master technique in a safe, controlled environment in the wave pool.
Young surfers, aged 7 to 16, can fully embrace the surfing environment and build skills, confidence and a love for the sport at Lost Shore Kids Surf Camps. Led by passionate and experienced surf coaches, children will progress from their first pop-ups to riding waves with style, mastering fun tricks and turns along the way.
The week-long camps, available as beginner or intermediate sessions, cost £200 per child and take place on various dates throughout the Easter holidays.
Development is for all ages and warmer weather days could be the perfect time to learn to surf or improve skills. Lost Shore’s residential surf camps return in March offering a two night stay and three days of expert coaching for adult surfers - from complete beginners to advanced. Prices start from just £195, or £295 including accommodation.
For an added challenge, Lost Shore has introduced a new advanced wave setting; Turns to Tubes. Built for advanced surfers who want to start linking proper turns with proper tubes. Expect a moderate take-off into a steep, open wall then prepare for the barrel lines.
Lee Wood, Lost Shore Surf Resort’s MD, said: “Spring is one of the best times of year here. The days are longer, the energy shifts, and people are ready to get back outside and challenge themselves. That’s exactly what Lost Shore is built for.
“We see families learning together for the first time, kids progressing quickly through camp weeks, and experienced surfers stepping up into more challenging wave settings. What makes it powerful is that everyone, whatever their level, is sharing the same water and the same sense of progression.
“And if chasing waves isn’t your idea of a perfect day, you can settle in with a great coffee, order something properly good from the menu and take in the view across the cove, or get behind the lens and capture the action instead. You don’t have to surf to feel part of it.”
Located just 10 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 25 minutes from the city centre plus the surf bus has officially become a public registered service with Ember, meaning it’s never been easier to visit Lost Shore.
Waterfront pods and Hilltop Lodge accommodation is available to book on Airbnb, Booking.com or direct at www.lostshore.com
