Fans can also look forward to The Amy Winehouse Band, and Scottish singer-songwriter Roisin McCarney taking the stage this year.

Pop icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor will support Five on Sunday 26th July 2026.
With a career spanning 25 years the dance pop diva is known for hits including Murder on the Dancefloor, Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love) and Take Me Home.
Recently named Best Female at the O2 Silver Clef Awards 2025, she is set to thrill audiences with her signature dance-pop sound.

Elsewhere, Marc Almond will add some signature synth-pop glamour to 80s Calling on Saturday 25th July.

A defining voice of the decade, Marc first rose to fame as one half of Soft Cell, the band behind the iconic UK No. 1 hit Tainted Love.

Known for his emotional performances and unmistakable style he has also delivered hits including Say Hello, Wave Goodbye and Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart.
Joining him is Haircut 100, one of the most feel-good bands of the early ‘80s.
Fans can expect a nostalgic, high-energy performance full of the breezy tunes that make the band a festival favourite, past and present.

Following a hugely successful 2025 festival, that saw over 15,000 attendees, Discovery Festival 2026 promises three days of unforgettable music and a party atmosphere from Friday 24th July to Sunday 26th July 2026.

Friday:
Joining The Libertines fresh from their UK/Europe stadium tour with Robbie Williams the Lottery Winners. Sheffield favourites Reverend and The Makers bring their trademark grooves and northern attitude. Friday is set to be a massive celebration of British guitar music in the heart of Dundee.

Saturday:
Leading the 80s Calling! line-up is suave frontman Tony Hadley and 80s funk pop maestros Level 42. They will be joined by synth-pop icon Marc Almond, new wave favourites Haircut One Hundred, Level 42, Scottish pop-soul duo Hue & Cry and the sensational Jaki Graham. Saturday promises to be a full day packed with nostalgia, energy, and singalong classics. Expect big tunes, big hair and crazy outfits as 80s Calling! lights up Dundee once again.

Sunday:
The festival’s spectacular closing day sees 90s chart-topping boyband Five headline. They will be supported by dance pop diva Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Scottish alt-pop firebrand Roisin McCarney. Joining them to close an epic weekend of unmissable live music moments are The Wanted 2.0 and The Amy Winehouse Band.
