Our major concerts generally take place in May, and either November or December each year, with occasional variations or additional events.

Our members come from all over Lanarkshire and beyond. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights at 7.30 pm from August to June in the Strathaven Evangelical Church, 10 Lethame Road. We always welcome new members (particularly Tenors – male and female!) If you would like to join us, please don’t be shy. You can contact us for further information or just come along to any of our rehearsals. Subscriptions are £80 per annum (under 16 free, concessions for students) which may be paid in instalments

A registered charity, annual elections ensure our committee reflects the interests of members.

Strathaven Choral Society has firm roots in the town where we rehearse and often perform. We encourage the involvement of children and young people and would particularly welcome high school and college students to our ranks. We also participate in music making throughout Scotland (and, occasionally, beyond). Discover Strathaven Choral Society through this website, and then, come and join us.
